chocolate, dare I say chocolate again, bread, cheese, avocados, chillies, tomatoes, butter, cream, duck, sardines, herbs, bacon, mangoes and another trillion foods that keep my mind buzzing day and night, but foremost the humble egg that accompanies me daily and brings my palate great pleasure.

What's so special about eggs?
Where to start?! Not only do they taste soooo good but they are also incredibly versatile. You can serve them in dozens of different ways - poached, srambled, fried, boiled, in omelettes, eggs benedict, deviled eggs, tortilla, quiches, used as an ingredient in baked goods, on pizza, in salads, crepes....the list goes on. And of course lets not forgot their nutritious value.
They are also beautiful to look at with their variety of shapes and colours and like magic they appear through a vent, or otherwise known as the chickens butt!
A little something about the photo above, it was taken at an undeniably very special market and any foodies dream location "La Boqueria" in Barcelona. Seeing all the varieties and magnificient arrays of colours of fruits, vegetables, smoothies, lollies, spices, fish, meat..etc was quite a memorable experience. We ate the best fried eggs with chipirones (baby squid) at one of the many stalls. I have since tried to recreate the same dish, but failed misserably.
